Free Freight Forever: Urban Group's New Trade Policy

We know freight costs can add up quickly, especially on the bulky materials that make up most fencing and decking projects. A truck full of fence panels, a custom gate, or decking bundles for a large residential job can push freight charges well into the hundreds, eating into your margins before you've even started work.

Now, however, freight cost is one less thing you need to worry about.

How It Works

From the 1st of September, Urban Group is rolling out free freight on all orders over $3,000 + GST. This isn't a seasonal promotion or limited-time offer, but our new permanent policy for trade customers nationwide.

The new policy applies to any trade customer across New Zealand, covering our full range of fencing, gates, decking, and related products. With three branches strategically located throughout the country, we've got excellent coverage to get your materials where they need to be on a reliable timeframe, whether you're working in main centres or regional areas. 

There are some notable terms and exclusions:

• Orders under $3000 + GST will be charged a flat delivery fee of $120.

• Courier orders will be charged a flat delivery fee of $25.

• Must be ‘forklift unload’.

• HIAB or hand unload will incur charges.

• Any items returned for a credit that were supplied ‘freight free’ will have an additional restocking fee.

This policy reflects how we think about trade partnerships. You shouldn't have to factor freight surprises into every quote or second-guess whether to combine orders. When you're working with Urban Group, the focus should be on getting quality materials to the site efficiently.
